Insight, Rigour, Meaning—Strategies for Art, Design, Life
Inevitably, the shift from one stage of life to another invites change. The underlying ethos remains. I bring insight, rigour and meaning to my work.
(IRM Strategies is redirected to this site in development-thanks for your interest—and patience!)
Leading IRM Strategies, my Hong Kong registered consultancy, the field of play involved knowledge systems; the building and use of intellectual capital in organizations and communities; and the management of information retained in multiple media. It’s an exciting and complex field at the intersection of intent, action and results.
Today, my explorations continue. A valuing of complexity informs my creative activities across writing, design, community development…and art.
Botanical monotypes are souvenirs of the seasons as they emerge in the many garden rooms of our housing and design partnership, Garden Oaks Fine Accommodation. Our personal art collection—and some of my works—enhance our furnished suites.
Newer works, as well as retrospective pieces going back some 50 years, are available in my studio (hours by appointment). Works are available by commission in a variety of media including pan and soft pastel; graphite, charcoal and pencil; acrylic and alcohol ink, etc.
Lately, I am having a satisfying experience with up-cycled materials, substrates that open to the potential of One Planet Living, through sculpture and dimensional art.
My work reveals layers, opportunity for contemplation and discovery. It is a journey I aim to share. In response to requests, I am taking contact details for future workshops. If this sounds interest, please contact me to share your interests, experience and hopes for a group or personal workshop or series.
Welcome to my world!
